Will my battery keep my home powered in a power cut?
Yes. When the grid goes down, your Levocell battery switches over automatically and keeps your home running on stored energy until grid power returns.
Can a battery system work without solar panels?
Yes. Many battery systems can be charged directly from the grid and used to store electricity for later. However, pairing a battery with solar panels typically delivers the greatest savings and energy independence.
Can I plug a battery directly into a household socket?
No. Battery Energy Storage Systems cannot be connected directly to a standard household mains socket in the UK. All battery systems must be installed and commissioned by a qualified professional in line with UK electrical regulations.
