Got questions?
How much could your household save?
What is the best position for plug-in solar panels?
A south-facing location with direct sunlight will typically deliver the highest energy generation throughout the year. East and west-facing installations can also perform well, although production may be lower. Avoid areas with excessive shading from buildings, trees or other obstructions.
How much can I save with plug-in solar panels?
Savings vary depending on your property type, electricity usage, panel orientation and time spent at home. Many households can reduce electricity costs by up to 25%, or up to 60% with battery storage. For a personalised estimate, please get in touch via our Contact page.
What if I need more panels?
Additional panels can be purchased separately to expand your solar generation capacity. Our team can recommend the most suitable configuration based on current UK legislation and your energy requirements.
What is a microinverter and why do I need one?
A microinverter converts the electricity generated by your solar panels into usable power for your home. It allows the energy produced by the panels to be used safely and efficiently through your property’s electrical system.
Can I install the panels on my roof?
Yes. While our Plug-In Solar Solutions are designed for simple ground or balcony installation, professional roof installation can be arranged at an additional cost.
What’s the difference between Essential, Advanced and panels only?
Essential is a complete plug-and-play system with panels, microinverter, cables and brackets. Advanced adds battery storage for greater independence and savings; battery systems must be professionally installed and cannot be plugged into a mains socket. Panels only includes solar panels without microinverter, battery or brackets, for customers with existing equipment or bespoke installations.
